Gebouwd op initiatief van pater Muckensturm en ingewijd door bisschop Stebler in 1966. De kerk heeft opmerkelijke hedendaagse gebrandschilderde ramen van pater Jean-Paul Schur, een leerling van Tristan Ruhlmann, en een geschilderd doek in het koor. Het gebrandschilderde raam aan de achterzijde vertelt het verhaal van Johannes de Doper met een belangrijke kleurkeuze, die door de bezoekers wordt bewonderd. Er zijn twee vitrines met Afrikaanse kunst die herinneren aan de missies.
