Het kasteel van Mazelières, een 17e eeuws kasteel in het land van de Gascogne, ligt in het hart van een streek met een rijke geschiedenis, vlakbij Nérac en het koninklijk kasteel van Henri IV.
Op de grens van de Landes en de Gers vermengt de geur van pijnbomen zich met de geur van Armagnac. De heuvels, zachter dan in het noorden van het departement, en de kastelen, zijn gemarkeerd door de ritten van Henri IV.
