West-Limousin ligt in het hart van het Regionale Natuurpark Périgord-Limousin en heet je welkom in Oradour-sur-Vayres. Dit kleine dorp, omringd door het omringende platteland, is een van de startpunten van de voie verte, een geasfalteerd pad van 13 km dat de route volgt van een oude spoorlijn naar Châlus. Het hele gezin kan deze route fietsen, skeeleren of te voet afleggen. Wandelliefhebbers zullen ook blij zijn met het grote aanbod aan routes.
Sinds het voorjaar van 2022 verwelkomt het team van het Office du Tourisme je in zijn nieuwe ruimte, waar toeristische informatie, advies over overnachtingsmogelijkheden en de "Boutique des Créateurs", waar je lokale ambachten en lekkernijen kunt kopen, worden gecombineerd. Net ernaast vertelt het PNR-museum "les clés du Périgord-Limousin" (de sleutels van Périgord-Limousin) het verhaal van de lokale hardhoutindustrie.
