Il Limousin occidentale, nel cuore del Parco naturale regionale del Périgord-Limousin, vi accoglie a Oradour-sur-Vayres. Questo piccolo villaggio, circondato dalla campagna circostante, è uno dei punti di partenza della voie verte, un sentiero asfaltato di 13 km che segue il percorso di una vecchia linea ferroviaria fino a Châlus. Tutta la famiglia può affrontare questo percorso in bicicletta, con i rollerblade o a piedi. Anche gli amanti dell'escursionismo saranno soddisfatti dell'ampia offerta di percorsi.
Dalla primavera del 2022, il team dell'Ufficio del Turismo vi accoglie nel suo nuovo spazio, che combina informazioni turistiche, consigli su dove alloggiare e la "Boutique des Créateurs", dove è possibile acquistare artigianato e prelibatezze locali. Proprio accanto, il museo PNR "les clés du Périgord-Limousin" (le chiavi del Périgord-Limousin) racconta la storia dell'industria locale del legno duro.
