Het bedrijf werd in 1930 opgericht door Antoine SONNENDRUCKER als groenteteelt-, tuinbouw- en boomkwekerijbedrijf. In 1967 nam zijn zoon André SONNENDRUCKER het bedrijf over. Hij ontwikkelde de sierteeltactiviteiten en voegde er een hoveniersbedrijf aan toe, voornamelijk voor privétuinen, en een bloemist voor bloemstukken. Chistophe SONNENDRUCKER, de derde generatie, nam het bedrijf van zijn vader over in 1996. Hij handhaafde alle verschillende activiteiten, maar ontwikkelde ze op materieel, technisch en commercieel vlak.
