De 12e-eeuwse kerk in Arthon is versierd met felgekleurde hedendaagse fresco's van de Parijse kunstenaars Line en Claude Malespina. Deze indrukwekkende werken, die bijbelse scènes illustreren zoals Kaïn en Abel, Mozes en de doop van Christus, werden gemaakt tussen 1947 en 1952. Aan het project werd actief deelgenomen door buurtbewoners, brandweerkorpsen en lokale organisaties, die allemaal bijdroegen aan de ondersteuning van de familie Malespina in hun werk. Deze collectieve inspanning transformeerde de kerk in een waar artistiek juweel, waarin religieus erfgoed wordt gecombineerd met hedendaagse kunst.
