Église Saint-Martin d'Arthon

The 12th-century church in Arthon is adorned with brightly colored contemporary frescoes created by Parisian artists Line and Claude Malespina. Illustrating biblical scenes such as Cain and Abel, Moses and the Baptism of Christ, these impressive works were created between 1947 and 1952. The project involved the active participation of local residents, firefighters and organizations, all of whom contributed to support the Malespina family in their work. This collective effort transformed the church into a veritable artistic gem, blending religious heritage with contemporary art.
