In 2001 zijn we naar Frankrijk verhuisd, waar we onze ateliers "L'Églantier" hebben opgezet. Marie-Louise is schilder en Rob is beeldhouwer.
Rob's werk bestaat uit beeldhouwen, opdrachten voor particulieren, graveren en monumentaal beeldhouwen, soms dicht bij het vakmanschap dat in zijn werk te vinden is.Marie-Louise's schilderijen houden het midden tussen naturalisme en abstractie, verwijzend naar elementen uit de natuur. De kracht van haar schilderijen ligt niet in de complexiteit van de vormen, die relatief eenvoudig zijn, maar eerder in de sereniteit die ze uitstralen. Land art behoort ook tot haar vakgebied en ze combineert haar leven als kunstenares met dat van schilderlerares en kunstzinnig therapeute.
In de zomer organiseren we workshops in onze studio's. De data vind je op onze website.
