Op minder dan tien kilometer van Sauveterre-de-Béarn, op de weg naar Baskenland, biedt het dorpje Gestas een zeer aangename picknickplaats. Na een maaltijd of een snack aan tafel wacht een petanqueveld op u in de buurt. Een klein toernooi met familie of vrienden, niets beter om voorzichtig te verteren. De nabijgelegen bibliotheek zal ook de meest dromerige bezig houden...
De natuur rond Gestas biedt de mogelijkheid om een groot aantal buitenactiviteiten uit te proberen, zoals raften, kanoën, accrobranche, wandelen... Sauveterre-de-Béarn, een middeleeuwse stad, en Navarrenx, een bastionstad, openen hun deuren om hun rijke verleden te onthullen.
