Maak een stop in het stadje Charroux, in het zuiden van het departement Vienne.
De markthallen van dit dorp zijn een bezoek waard! Ze staan sinds 1948 op de monumentenlijst en behoren met hun drie schepen en elf traveeën tot de grootste van West-Frankrijk. Ze dateren uit de 16e eeuw en zijn gebouwd op een voormalige begraafplaats. Het plaveisel en de 50 pilaren die het kastanjehouten raamwerk ondersteunen zijn uit die tijd. Ze worden nog steeds gebruikt voor jaarmarkten.
