Het charmante dorpje Berviller-en-Moselle heeft een kerk die in de jaren 1750 is gebouwd en in de loop der jaren is gerestaureerd. De parochie staat onder de bescherming van Saint-Fiacre, beschermheilige van de tuiniers. Geboren in het begin van de 7e eeuw, leefde hij als kluizenaar in het bos van Breuil. Toen hij de ellende om zich heen zag, vroeg hij zijn bisschop om een stuk land dat hij kon bewerken om de pelgrims te voeden. Hij dacht zelfs aan geneeskrachtige planten voor de zieken en bloemen. Fiacre verdeelt zijn tijd tussen gebed, handenarbeid en armenzorg. Hij is afgebeeld met een spade en gekleed als een boer of kluizenaar.
