De lantaarn dateert uit de 13e eeuw en stond oorspronkelijk op het kerkhof bij de kerk. Ze werd in 1811 verplaatst naar de huidige locatie. De 5,5 meter hoge, rechthoekige lantaarn is gebouwd van goed passend granieten ashlar en is gedempt in de vorm van een piramide. Het heeft een kleine halfronde travee aan elke kant van het bovenste gedeelte. De westkant heeft een uitstekende altaartafel. De opening waardoor de lantaarn werd geplaatst en de katrol werd opgehesen bevindt zich aan de oostkant. Op een steenworp afstand biedt een oriëntatietafel een panoramisch uitzicht op de bergen van de Limousin en de Auvergne. Op een heldere dag kun je zes departementen zien... en de Puy de Sancy!
