Saint-Nabor, genesteld aan de voet van de Mont Sainte-Odile, is een vredig dorpje omringd door bossen en wijngaarden. De geschiedenis en het nageslacht van het dorp zijn verbonden met het klooster van Niedermunster, dat nu een ruïne is. Dit werd door Sint Odile omgevormd tot een hospice. Het werd gebruikt als gasthuis voor zieken die niet naar de berg konden. De kleine kapel Saint-Nicolas, onder de ruïnes, is een romaans monument dat perfect gerestaureerd is.
