Het Domaine de Mons (voormalige tempelierscommanderij, eigendom van 200 hectare) ontvangt niet alleen vakantiegangers, maar heeft als hoofdactiviteit het fokken van koeien en paarden. Het ligt in het Regionaal Natuurpark van de Causses du Quercy, op 1,5 km van het dorp Assier (alle winkels). De gîte, gescheiden van het huis van de eigenaren (dat slechts enkele meters verderop ligt) door een heg om zijn privacy te bewaren, is licht en ruim, zonder inkijk, en geniet van een prachtig uitzicht op het omringende landschap (de weilanden van het landgoed liggen verderop). Het is gerestaureerd met het oog op authenticiteit, terwijl het een goed binnencomfort biedt. Een bovengronds houten zwembad (4,12 diam x 1,20 diep) wordt gedeeld met de andere gîte (capaciteit 2 personen).
