Als er ergens in de Deux-Sèvres een plaats is waar dennenbomen in optimale conditie kunnen groeien, dan is het wel in l'Absie. Deze tuin met een oppervlakte van 2.5 ha heeft meer dan 70 soorten sparren; van dennenbomen uit de Vogezen tot de Koreaanse spar, wat het tot een uniek park maakt. Een bijzonder microklimaat maakt het mogelijk om uitzonderlijke planten te kweken, bv zij die water met een hoge zuurgraad nodig hebben.
