Kom en ontdek een collectie sieraden en decoratieve objecten van plantaardig ivoor en dennenappels, gemaakt in mijn kleine atelier in Andernos, aan de baai van Arcachon.
Ik werk met een heel bijzonder materiaal, de verbazingwekkende palmnoten uit Zuid-Amerika, beter bekend als 'tagua' of 'plantaardig ivoor'. Deze noten bieden oneindig veel esthetische mogelijkheden en zijn bovendien ecologisch verantwoord.
Ik combineer mijn plantaardig ivoor met een materiaal dat veel lokaler is, maar net zo verrassend: ik gebruik elementen uit dennenappels van hier en elders, in de vorm van verschillende insluitsels en inlegwerk.
