(De Heilige Lijkwade, een linnen doek waarin het portret van Christus zou zijn getekend door het simpelweg op zijn gezicht te leggen na zijn kruisiging, was in Lirey van 1353 tot 1418).
Veel van het meubilair werd tijdens de Revolutie gesloopt en overgenomen door andere gebedshuizen en musea, waaronder altaren die nu worden bewaard in het Victoria and Albert Museum in Londen.
De huidige kerk, gewijd aan de Annunciatie van de Maagd, werd gebouwd tussen 1870 en 1880.
