Porcelaine Pierre Arquié werd opgericht in 1996 en is gespecialiseerd in het ontwerpen en produceren van porseleinen objecten die op maat gemaakt kunnen worden. De mogelijkheid om elke vorm aan te nemen, het gevoel, de kleur en de rijkdom maken van porselein een nieuw medium en een nieuw marktsegment binnen hun collecties.
De fabriek, die het label Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant (Levend Erfgoed Onderneming) heeft gekregen, is gevestigd in voormalige spinnerijen en weverijen aan de oevers van de rivier de Vienne. Het is een combinatie van werkplaats en fabriekswinkel. Het bedrijf, dat het hele productieproces ter plaatse uitvoert, kan op verzoek en op afspraak worden bezocht.
