Een mysterieuze stem onthult de geschiedenis van het kasteel, een van de eerste van de Renaissance periode in Poitou. Mysterieuze hutkoffers en souveniralbums voeren de bezoeker mee naar de vrouwelijke elegantie van de 19e eeuw. Tot slot vertelt Jean François Cail, een uitzonderlijk genie, het verhaal van zijn ongelooflijke lot als uitvinder en bedrijfsleider tijdens de industriële revolutie: een vrij en vernieuwend bezoek van de geschiedenis getransponeerd naar de 21e eeuw, van maart tot november. Ook nieuw: een virtuele rondleiding met koptelefoon voor mensen met beperkte mobiliteit.
