Een prachtig gerestaureerd pad rond het kasteel. De gracht werd opnieuw bewaterd en de ophaalbrug werd gereconstrueerd.
Het grafelijke kasteel werd tegelijkertijd met de wallen gebouwd en vormde het middelpunt van het middeleeuwse verdedigingssysteem. Net als de wallen maken deze grachten deel uit van de verdedigingswerken van het gebouw.
In deze met water gevulde sloot ontdekken we een bijzonder rijke fauna en flora!
