Deze wandeling laat je markasiet en fossielen ontdekken die dateren uit het Onder-Krijt. Door het feit dat deze plek tot een anticlinale behoort, dagzomen deze lagen hier.

Maar, let op als je hier aan de kust van Cap Blanc-Nez gaat zoeken naar markasiet of fossielen! 

• Blijf weg van de kliffen (regelmatig valt er wel eens een rotsblok naar beneden!)
• Hou de getijden in de gaten. Check de getijden eerst voor je op pad gaat zodat je ziet wanneer het getij opkomt. Dat gaat snel! En voor je het weet ben je afgesloten en zit je vast.
