Étaples is een Noord-Franse stad gelegen nabij Le Touquet-Paris-Plage. De stad heeft een gezellig centrum en ligt in een rustige omgeving waar het ideaal fietsen is. Nadat gestart werd aan het station van Étaples wordt langsheen mooie autoluwe wegen gereden naar de imposante vestingstad Montreuil waarna teruggetrokken wordt naar de startplaats via een heuvelachtig parcours waar met volle teugen van de omgeving genoten kan worden.
