Het National Museum of Scotland in Edinburgh, Schotland, werd in 2006 opgericht met de fusie van het nieuwe Museum of Scotland, met collecties die betrekking hebben op Schotse oudheden, cultuur en geschiedenis, en het aangrenzende Royal Scottish Museum, met internationale collecties op het gebied van wetenschap en technologie, natuurhistorie en wereldculturen. De twee verbonden gebouwen staan naast elkaar op Chambers Street, bij de kruising met de George IV-brug, in het centrum van Edinburgh. Het museum maakt deel uit van National Museums Scotland. Toegang is gratis.
