De M62-busontploffing, soms aangeduid als het M62-bloedbad, vond plaats op 4 februari 1974 op de M62-autosnelweg in Noord-Engeland, toen een 25-pond bom van het Provisional Irish Republican Army, verborgen in het bagagecompartiment van een bus die off-duty Britse strijdkrachten en hun familieleden vervoerde, explodeerde, waarbij twaalf mensen omkwamen en achtendertig anderen aan boord van het voertuig gewond raakten.
