Cheddar Gorge is een kloof uitgehouwen in de kalksteen van de zuidelijke hellingen van de Mendip Hills, Somerset in Zuidwest-Engeland, Verenigd Koninkrijk. Ze bevinden zich in de buurt van het dorp Cheddar. De bodem van de kloven wordt doorkruist door de weg B3135.
Ze herbergen talloze grotten, waarvan sommige shows bieden, met name Gough's Cave. Dit, stroomafwaarts van de kloven gelegen, is het heroplevingspunt van de Cheddar Yeo-rivier. De grotten onthulden talloze archeologische overblijfselen, waaronder artefacten en botten, die tijdens overstromingen werden weggespoeld en vervolgens in het slib werden bewaard; sommige dateren uit het Boven-Paleolithicum. Cheddar Man, het oudste complete skelet van Groot-Brittannië, 9.000 jaar oud, werd in 1903 gevonden in Gough's Cave. De kloven trekken jaarlijks ongeveer 500.000 bezoekers.
