Een standbeeld van King Kong, gemaakt door Nicholas Monro, werd in 1972 in opdracht gegeven voor tentoonstelling in de Manzoni-tuinen in The Bull Ring, in het centrum van Birmingham, Engeland. Het is later op andere plaatsen in Birmingham getoond, daarna in Edinburgh, en is nu in Penrith.
