De rivier Moyola of Moyola-rivier strekt zich ongeveer 27 mijl uit van de Sperrin Mountains naar Lough Neagh. De Moyola begint als een kleine rivier voor de eerste paar mijlen van zijn lengte en gaat vervolgens verder als een middelgrote rivier en daarna als een grote rivier voor zijn laatste paar mijlen voor Lough Neagh. In de oudheid stond de rivier Moyola bekend als de 'Bior' en diende als de grens tussen de Airgiallan koninkrijken van Fir Li en Ui Tuirtri.
