De pas door Glen Cloe en Glen Kinglas, gelegen tussen Arrochar en Cairndow op de A83 heeft de vreemde naam " Rest and Be Thankful". Dat heeft alles te maken met de aard van het beestje. De pas maakt namelijk deel uit van een oude militaire weg van Arrochar tot Inveraray, die rond 1850 werd aangelegd, kennelijk om het toen nog vrij onherbergzame gebied beter te kunnen controleren. Ook nu nog is dit de weg die de Citylink-bussen vanuit Glasgow volgen. De weg is niet alleen een one track road (eenbaansweg) maar hier en daar ook steil. Wie te voet of per fiets de top bereikt, rust (rest) en is dankbaar (be thankful) dat het zware werk achter de rug is. Omdat het landschap onderweg zo fenomenaal mooi is, volgt deze route het volledige traject van Arrochar tot Inveraray (A83). De uitzichten over het lager gelegen Loch Fyne zijn fantastisch.
