Zoegdidi is een stad met 42.998 inwoners in het noordwesten van de Georgische provincie Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti.
Georgische regeringstroepen veroverden Zoegdidi op 6 november 1993. Daarmee viel het laatste bolwerk van de rebellen van de verdreven ex-president Zviad Gamsachoerdia. Twee jaar eerder marcheerden de regeringstroepen ook al eens Zoegdidi binnen om de 'Zviadisten' te verdrijven. Toen bleven veel inwoners van de streek, de geboorteprovincie van Gamsachoerdia, rond de stad een guerrillastrijd voeren.
