De Grieken pakken graag uit met het feit dat de Vikos Kloof de relatief diepste kloof ter wereld is, maw. als je de verhouding hoogte en breedte in rekening brengt.
Maar zelfs zonder deze statistiek is een bezoek aan de kloof een echte aanrader. Niet zo een goed idee als je hoogtevrees hebt, want sommige delen van het wandelpad zijn slechts enkele meter breed.
