Het strand van Mikri Vighla wordt tijdens de zomer afgeschermd van de sterke noordenwinden door een uitloper van granodiorietrots aan de noordkant. Als zodanig vind je hier niet veel kitesurfers maar meer gezinnen met kinderen die op zoek zijn naar zacht water. Ten noorden van de kaap van Mikri Vighla vind je wel de kite- en windsurfers.
