De wilde kudde geiten is hier op Schiza behoorlijk nerveus. En ze hebben een goede reden. Het is een oefenterrein voor de Griekse militaire luchtmacht. Je mag Schiza dus niet bezoeken. Er zijn enkele doelen op het eiland waar piloten op schieten tijdens de training. Schiza is de grootste van de Oenousai-cluster . Het is 12 km². Het is lager gelegen en de hoogste top is Vigla, 201m, aan de noordkust. Het heeft een mooie grot op ongeveer 350 meter van de zee.
