Magoula is een wijk van de moderne stad Sparta in Laconia, Griekenland. Het is de voormalige zetel van de gemeente Mystras. Het is in feite de evolutie van een klein dorp dat is gehecht aan de groeiende stad Sparta. Het is een aristocratisch gebied en het centrum van de oude stad Sparta.
Er wordt gezegd dat het is vernoemd naar het woord 'magus', dat iets magisch en extreem mooi beschrijft. Het is een welvarende, chique wijk en een prestigieuze plek om te wonen. Er zijn veel overeenkomsten met Kifissia en Drafi te vinden. Sainopouleio bevindt zich in Magoula, een beroemd openluchttheater waar belangrijke festivals plaatsvinden. Sainopouleio werd door Manos Hadjidakis beschreven als het mooiste theater van Griekenland na dat in Epidaurus.
