"We hebben ons gecommitteerd om van Tilos het eerste zero waste-eiland te maken en we hebben het voor elkaar gekregen! Wat er momenteel gebeurt in Tilos is het begin van een geheel nieuwe levensstijl, een nieuwe filosofie om om te gaan met dingen die niet langer nuttig voor ons zijn. Een nieuw hoofdstuk in onze moderne beschaving dat is bereikt door constante communicatie, betrokkenheid en respect voor de lokale gemeenschap, die nu de vreugde ervaart een pioniersgroep van mensen over de hele wereld te zijn. En dat is nog maar het begin! "
Hopelijk is dit over een paar jaar niet meer indrukwekkend en wordt het de standaard.
