De belegering van Drogheda of het bloedbad van Drogheda vond plaats van 3 tot 11 september 1649, aan het begin van de Cromwelliaanse verovering van Ierland. De kustplaats Drogheda werd vastgehouden door de Ierse katholieke Confederatie en Engelse Royalisten onder bevel van Sir Arthur Aston toen het werd belegerd door parlementaire strijdkrachten onder leiding van Oliver Cromwell. Nadat Aston een uitnodiging om over te geven had afgewezen, werd de stad bestormd en werd veel van de garnizoen geëxecuteerd, inclusief een onbekend maar "significant aantal" burgers. De uitkomst van de belegering en de mate waarin burgers het doelwit waren, is een belangrijk onderwerp van discussie onder historici.
