Lusk is een kleine stad in
Fingal, Ierland. De stad ligt ongeveer 20 km ten noorden van het centrum van Dublin.
De naam "Lusk" zou teruggaan op Sint MacCullin, die daar rond 450 een kerk stichtte. Mondelinge traditie suggereert dat MacCullin mogelijk in een grot heeft gewoond of daar begraven is en dat de naam "Lusk" afgeleid is van een oud Iers woord Lusca, wat 'grot' of 'ondergrondse kamer' betekent. MacCullin stierf rond 497 en zijn feestdag was 6 september. Het gebied stond in de pre-christelijke tijd bekend als Bregia en zou de geboorteplaats zijn geweest van Emer, de vrouw van Cú Chulainn, in de Ierse mythologie.
