Allez, vooruit, de laatste van de 6 stroken sterrato!!
Alle moed en energie samen rapen om deze laatste aan te vatten: na een heel korte rechtse bocht op het asfalt, duiken we 50 meter verder op grind de "diepte" in, eventjes maar want even verder komt het steilste stuk van deze grindweg en hier reed Fabian Cancellara in 2012 de andere koplopers uit het wiel: Ballan, Van Avermaet, Iglinskiy, Visconti, Ventoso, Pantano, Amador, Gatto, Failli, Favilli, Van Summeren, Kreuzinger, Reda, Ginanni en Nibali...
Ik probeer hetzelfde met mijn metgezellen maar verzuur volledig... :-(
Het laatste stukje asfalt gaat neerwaarts en zo komen we weer aan de parking in de Via Aldo Moro.
