Het station ligt op 264 m hoogte Midden in het Etsjdal tussen de dorpen Burgstall en Lana. Direct ten westen van de sporen stroomt de Etsch voorbij, aan de tegenoverliggende orografisch rechter rivierzijde loopt de snelweg MeBo. Direct ten noorden van het station zorgt een brug voor een oversteek van Burgstall, waarvan het stationsgebied behoort tot de gemeente, over de Etsch naar Lana.
