Brenner is een gemeente in de Italiaanse provincie Bolzano en telt 2093 inwoners . De oppervlakte bedraagt 114 km², de bevolkingsdichtheid is 18 inwoners per km². De Brennerpas is naar Brenner genoemd.
Bij deze plaats begint ook de SS12 del Brennero. Deze weg van ruim 500 km lengte die over de Apennijnen tot Pisa doorloopt, is in de Middeleeuwen aangelegd als verbinding van de havenstad Pisa met Noord-Europa.
