Gagaoezië is een autonome regio in het zuiden van Moldavië. De regio is bewoond door de Gagaoezen, een Turks volk in Zuidoost-Europa. De regio heeft de autonome status sinds 1994. De hoofdstad van Gagaoezië is Comrat. In 1990 was er een burgeroorlog tegen de republiek Moldavië.
