Wit in de zon: Thorn. Dit stadje lijkt op een filmset die per ongeluk is blijven staan. Witte gevels, kinderkopjes, geraniums in vensterbanken. We laveren langs een vol terras (bij de pannenkoekenboer, natuurlijk) en nemen even de tijd voor een blik in het eeuwenoude Abdijkerkje. Voor een drankje vinden we het nog net iets te vroeg – we houden het tempo erin en fietsen verder.
