't Peeske, een naam die afkomstig is van het Latijnse woord "pascuum", dat vruchtbare plek of waterrijke weidegronden betekent.
't Peeske is gelegen in de Montferlandse bossen. Het hoogst gelegen meertje deed eind negentiende eeuw dienst als waterbuffer voor een bovenslagwatermolen waarmee graan werd gemalen tot meel, de basis voor brood. Het waterrad is al lang verdwenen, maar bij het Peeske kunt u nog steeds genieten van heerlijke broodjes en pasta's. Even uitrusten na een wandeling door de mooie Beekse bossen, met een kopje koffie en een lekker stukje gebak of een drankje.
