Heumen ) is een Nederlandse gemeente in de provincie Gelderland. De gemeente telt 17.021 inwoners en heeft een oppervlakte van 41,50 km² . De gemeente Heumen maakt deel uit van de Stadsregio Arnhem Nijmegen. Op 1 juli 1980 werd de gemeente uitgebreid door de annexatie van de gemeente Overasselt.Heumen had tot in 2011 stedenbanden met het Hongaarse Csorna en het Poolse Polkowice. Daarna knoopte men banden aan met Srebrenica maar stopte daar eind 2013 mee.
