De Keutenberg is misschien wel de meest gevreesde klim in het heuvelland. Vooral het begin is erg steil. De aangegeven 22% wordt hier kort gehaald. De eerste 500m zijn het zwaarst. Je begint met 50m aan 20% waarna je 450m met een gemiddelde rond de 15% verder klimt. Na 500m passeer je het plaatsnaambord Keutenberg en passeer je het beroemde bordje 22%. Op het plateau richting de hoeve Blankenberg blijft het 'vals plat' nog ruim een kilometer pijn doen.
