Na het Waalse water wordt de naam Oude IJsselweg. Aan de linkerkant staat een in verval geraakt daghuurdershuisje. In 'Rond Berghse boerderijen en het boerenbestaan' (1990) staat een foto waarop te zien is dat het dak toen al zwaar beschadigd was. Na enkele fikse stormen is de toestand nog verder achteruit gegaan tot grote ergernis van liefhebbers. De gemeente Oude IJsselstreek zou ook wel anders willen, maar staat machteloos
