De Hettenheuvel bij Kilder, met plm 93 meter NAP is de hoogste heuvel in Oost-Gelderland. Vroeger speelde de Hettenheuvel een belangrijke rol voor de landmeetkunde, als triangulatiepunt. Een steen met het opschrift RD (Rijksdriehoeksmeting) staat nog op de top. De Hettenheuvel leent zich voor heerlijke wandelingen. Vanaf de Loolaan voert een holle weg naar de top, uitgesleten door het regenwater. Noordelijk van de Hettenheuvel ligt de 80,2 meter hoge heuvel Kale Jacob, zo in de volksmond genoemd wegens de gelijkenis met een kaal hoofd. Niet duidelijk is waarom naar Jacob genoemd.
