Abbega is een dorp in de gemeente Súdwest-Fryslân, in de Nederlandse provincie Friesland, dat ligt ten zuidwesten van Sneek, tussen Westhem en Oosthem. De dorpskern ligt aan de Abbegasteropvaart van de Wijmerts.In 2021 telde het dorp 245 inwoners, waarvan de helft in het buitengebied woont. Onder het dorp vallen de buurtschappen Abbegaasterketting, Abbegaasterrige en Piekezijl .
