Ravenstein is een vestingstad aan de Maas, in de gemeente Oss, in de Nederlandse provincie Noord-Brabant. De stad telde op 1 januari 2021 3.060 inwoners. Tot 2003 vormde Ravenstein tezamen met een elftal omliggende dorpen een zelfstandige gemeente met zo'n 8.500 inwoners. Het historische stadje Ravenstein besloeg slechts een geringe oppervlakte, circa dertig hectare. Van belang was vooral de ligging aan de Maas.
