Op de IJsselkade staat de indrukwekkende Walmolen. Het is een graanmolen uit 1851. De voorganger van deze molen was een standaardmolen, die in 1850 door een brand verwoest werd. Hij werd herbouwd en was tot 1908 in gebruik. In 1910 werd alles afgebroken, zodat alleen de stenen sokkel overbleef. Hij moest in 1961 worden afgebroken, maar werd gelukkig gered voor de sloophamer.
Openingstijden
De molenaar vertelt u graag meer over de molen.
De molen is op dinsdag en woensdag geopend van 9.00 tot 15.00 uur en op zaterdag van 13.00 tot 17.00 uur.
Op zaterdag is de molen om de week geopend.
