De Broerstraat is een weg in het stadscentrum van de Nederlandse stad Nijmegen en loopt van de Molenstraat tot de Burchtstraat. De Broerstraat is één van de belangrijkste winkelstraten in het centrum.
De straat werd voordien ook Broederstraat genoemd en verwijst naar de Predikbroeders, broeders Dominicanen, die sinds het einde van de dertiende eeuw een kapel hadden en rond 1373 een kerk, de Broer- of Sint Dominicuskerk bouwden. Sinds 1579 was de kerk, met een onderbreking, in protestantse handen maar kwam in 1810 weer bij de Dominicanen terug. Op de hoek met het voormalige Beynumsgas bevond zich het geboortehuis van Petrus Canisius.
